The Olga G. Nalbandov Lecture Fund provides support to enrich the campus intellectual environment in the life sciences. Funding supports public lectures or symposia on current topics of interest in the fields of biological and biochemical sciences. Lectures may be stand-alone events or part of a larger conference or symposium.
Eligible expenses include speaker fees, travel, facility fees, catering costs, and other costs associated with events that center around the public lectures.
Events must take place on the Urbana campus.
We will announce awards in late July.
Eligibility
University of Illinois faculty and research staff are eligible to apply for Nalbandov funding.
PI Requirements
Nalbandov funding is intended to further inquiry and research in the life sciences. By submitting this applications, PIs acknowledge that:
- The proposed event is relevant to the goals of the endowment.
- The proposed event will take place by May 2025.
